ASTM A269 TP316L Pipe

ASTM A269 TP316L Pipe is a welded or seamless austenitic stainless steel tube that is characterized by having a low carbon composition, which improves its ability to resist corrosion. Consisting of 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel and 2 to 3% molybdenum, such a composition is said to enhance pitting as well as crevice corrosion resistance, especially in high chloride environments.

Features

● Corrosion Resistance: The ability to withstand crevice corrosion is also improved as a result of the increased amount of molybdenum, allowing for deployment in vast marine and chemical applications.

● Mechanical Properties: It complies with the requirements of at least 485 MPa of tensile strength as well as 170 Mpa yield strength, which is essential to maintain the integrity of the structure.

● Temperature Resilience: Any and all mechanical properties will not be altered by temperature as they will function as intended in both very high and low temperatures.

● Standards Compliance: Installation standards are satisfyingly complied with according to ASTM 3269 specifications.
