More importantly, the addition of molybdenum in this alloy gives tremendous edge improvements in resistance to chlorides, acids, and other industrial solvents to make it perfect for specific performance in very harsh environments, ideal for demanding conditions. ● Material Composition

The alloy consists of 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum. This particular combination increases the material's resistance to corrosion, pitting, and crevice damage.

● Mechanical Properties

The ASTM A213 TP316 pipes are strong, with a tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. Hence are capable of withstanding high stress and pressure without deformation or failure.

● Pitting and Corrosion Resistance

The molybdenum content in the alloy provides excellent resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in those situations with high chloride exposure.

● Heat Resistance

The properties of this pipe are such that it performs well at high temperatures, maintaining its structural integrity and performance.
