ASTM A269 TP304L Pipe

The ASTM A269 TP304L pipe is a subtype of the austenitic TP304 pipe which is low in carbon, being up to 0.30 % of TP304 grade. It complies with the requirements for better weldability and reduced chance of carbide precipitation during the welding of stainless steel. Due to its low carbon content, TP304L can retain the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance features of TP304, but now, the welded structures built using TP 314L perform better than those built using TP 304.
