ASTM A269 TP304 Pipe

The ASTM A269 TP304 pipe is a seamless or welded austenitic stainless steel tube with general corrosion resistance and the ability to perform in low and high service temperatures. This 304-grade steel consists of 18% chromium and 8% nickel with ideal mechanical properties as it has a tensile strength of not less than 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. Its approximate density is equal to 8 g/cm³, and its melting point is in the region of 1400 degrees Celsius.

Features

● Corrosion: Great resistance from a wide range of atmospheric environments and from many corrosive media.

● Mechanical design: Minimum tensile strength value of at least 515 MPa as well as a yield strength not less than 205 MPa.

● Bearing Temperature: Appropriate for the use of low and high temperatures. Starting from good oxidation resistance to intermittent service temperatures of about 870 degrees Celsius and undergoing continuous service of about 925 degrees Celsius.

● Material Qualification: Follows ASTM A269 requirements thus guaranteeing quality standards.
